Practice Tape

Terms of Use

Last updated October 20, 2026

These terms cover your use of Practice Tape. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. Questions: [add CONTACT_EMAIL on Render].

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older and be the parent or legal guardian of any athlete you add. Practice Tape is sold to families on this website only and is not offered to schools.

What Practice Tape does

You film an athlete practicing or choose a video. The app picks still frames and an AI writes coaching notes, and, for athletes who compete, an estimated judge's card based on the organization you choose. Everything is advice and an estimate.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you add. You give us permission to store it, process it and send the frames to our AI provider so we can provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. Only add video of athletes whose parent or guardian you are, or who you have permission to film, and don't add anything unlawful.

Using the service fairly

Don't try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, share your login, or use it to harass anyone. We may suspend accounts that do.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Practice Tape running but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or end features, and will give notice of changes that matter to paying customers.

Limits of our responsibility

Practice Tape is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, for results at competitions, or for injuries that happen while practicing. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have by law.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Plans in the app. We may close accounts that break these terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If something goes wrong, please email us first and give us 30 days to put it right; most problems are settled that way. If we can't settle it, either of us may bring a claim in a small-claims court, or in the state or federal courts located in Delaware. Nothing in these terms takes away consumer-protection rights you have under the law of the place where you live, and we don't require arbitration or ask you to give up the right to join a class action that the law gives you.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above and tell account holders by email.
